The Christmas Spirit in Alburtis

At a property just off Route 100, a truck of Christmas trees had just been offloaded, and more were coming in right behind it at this local Christmas tree farm. This tree farm is like no other in that there are no price tags on the trees - you get a tree simply for a donation in an amount you feel is appropriate or that you can afford.
Angel Tree Farms in Alburtis is special for another reason - all proceeds go to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley. Now that is the Spirit of Christmas.
angeltreefarms.org, Hours are Fridays -12-5 pm, Saturdays and Sundays 9am - 5 pm. Weekdays - contact [email protected] for an appointment.

Road Rage Incident Ends in Tragedy
A 28-year-old woman from Allentown stands accused of fatally injuring a man in what appears to be a case of road rage in New York City over the weekend. According to the New York City police, the woman intentionally collided her sedan with a moped around 2:20 p.m. on Saturday in the Bronx. Both vehicles were traveling southbound on Fox Street at the time of the collision, resulting in the moped rider being transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Prior to the tragic incident, the two individuals engaged in an argument during which the moped driver reportedly removed the woman's side mirror before proceeding to drive against traffic on a local street. Allegedly, the woman followed him onto that street and deliberately collided with his moped. As a consequence, the driver now faces charges of manslaughter and murder, and she was apprehended by authorities on Sunday.

Sports News of Interest
Flyers Attempt to Beat Carolina But Fall Short
Both teams fought fiercely, mirroring the intensity from their prior two encounters this season, both of which resulted in an even split. In the midst of the action, the teams traded goals during the second period, leaving the Flyers trailing 2-1 at the close of the period.
Carolina managed to score another goal when Carter Hart initially blocked a shot, but the rebound found its way to Scott Laughton. Attempting to clear the puck, Laughton inadvertently struck ex-Flyer Brendan Lemieux's shin pad, causing the loose puck to inadvertently slide into the net—a familiar stroke of misfortune for the Flyers this season.
Ultimately, the game concluded with the Flyers facing a 4-1 defeat, with Carolina netting their final two goals in the last four minutes of the match. This loss brings the Flyers' season record to 11-10-1.
Eagles Football - Underdogs This Coming Weekend?
It is hard to believe but the Eagles are a 3-point underdog against the San Francisco 49ers this weekend - and at home!! Who da’ thunk it?
