Red Pandas Coming to the Lehigh Valley Zoo

In 2024, Lehigh Valley Zoo is preparing to introduce red pandas into an area that was previously occupied by North American prairie dogs. Collaborating closely with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and its species survival plan, the Zoo is carefully selecting the red pandas for their new habitat.

Contrary to popular belief associating them with giant pandas, red pandas, share more genetic traits with raccoons, weasels, and skunks. With fewer than 10,000 red pandas remaining in the wild, they are categorized as endangered, according to WWF UK.

Millvina Dean, the youngest passenger aboard the Titanic at just two months old, survived the tragic collision with an iceberg on April 14, 1912. Her family had plans to start a new life in Kansas City. Despite losing her father in the disaster, Millvina, along with her mother and brother, managed to survive.
In her later years, financial struggles led her to sell her precious Titanic-related possessions. Sadly, she passed away in May 2009 at the age of 97. Prior to her death, facing destitution, she found support from Titanic movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, who generously assisted in covering her nursing home expenses.

Both upset, they call their rabbi and explain what happened. The rabbi says, “You won’t believe this, my son Joshua moved away and when HE came back he told me he converted to Christianity too”! God says to them, “you won’t believe this...
