The market will be open on Sundays for all of December from 10 am-12 noon with over 25 vendors on Fourth Street and in the Triangle. Come on out and support our local vendors.
Google Seems to Have Lost Some Customer Files
Users of Google Drive are encountering problems where their files are disappearing entirely from the cloud service. Many have reported losing access to their files, and some are experiencing complications where folder structures have reverted back to a state from May 2023. Google is actively investigating this issue and recommends that affected users refrain from making any alterations to their Google Drive accounts at this time.
The Museum of Indian Culture Gets a new 25-year lease
A fresh 25-year lease is set to propel the Museum of Indian Culture towards highlighting the history of the area. This month, members of the City Council unanimously approved a new lease spanning a quarter-century, granting the museum access to the Little Lehigh Parkway for a mere $1 per year.
Recent funding of just over $1.5 million has been allocated to construct a Lenape village, spanning three-quarters of an acre. This dedicated space will showcase demonstrations of indigenous lifestyles such as fishing, cooking, and net making.
In addition to the village, the allocated funds will support the creation of a new welcome center at the museum, an extension of the Lenape Trail, and an audio tour, all contributing to a more immersive experience for visitors.
Red Pandas Coming to the Lehigh Valley Zoo

In 2024, Lehigh Valley Zoo is preparing to introduce red pandas into an area that was previously occupied by North American prairie dogs. Collaborating closely with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and its species survival plan, the Zoo is carefully selecting the red pandas for their new habitat.
Contrary to popular belief associating them with giant pandas, red pandas, share more genetic traits with raccoons, weasels, and skunks. With fewer than 10,000 red pandas remaining in the wild, they are categorized as endangered, according to WWF UK.

Our Snow Forecast

Knowing how silly it is to predict snow accumulations, I will try to do so anyway.
The collective wisdom of our forecasters says we will have quite a bit more than last year (less than an inch), with some predicting about 2 feet total for the winter including 2 storms that may leave 6 inches or more.
Remember, be safe out there!

Sports News of Interest
Eagles 37, Bills 34 (OT)
If Eagle fans wanted a game to remember they got their wish on the Monday Night Football Game.
The game had already been noted for the Kelly Green throwback uniforms. The Eagles fell behind at the half. Then the Eagles overcame a 10-point second-half deficit, requiring a remarkable 59-yard field goal to force overtime. In a thrilling quest for a score to stay in the game, quarterback Jalen Hurts sealed the deal with his quarterback draw for a touchdown, securing a thrilling 37-34 victory for the Eagles.

Humor
An Irishman goes to a building site in London and asks the foreman if he can have a job. “Are you Irish?”, said the foreman. “Well sor, that I am”, replied the Irishman. “Well”, said the foreman,”I don’t want any more Irish on this site, because they don’t know nuffink. Last week we have one here who didn’t even know the difference between a girder and a joist. Can you tell me the difference between girder and joist?” The Irishman thought for a little while, and then replied, “Well sor, I tink that Joyce wrote Ulysses and Goethe wrote Faust.”
