LVHN Will Hold Its Annual Driveby Flu Shots

These clinics are free of charge and welcome adults and children aged 6 months and older. Join us between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on November 4 at Dorney Park, 4000 Dorney Park Road, South Whitehall, and on November 5 at LVH–Hecktown Oaks, 3780 Hecktown Road, Lower Nazareth.
To participate, please complete a consent form and register online by visiting LVHN.org/flushot or calling 1-835-215-5438 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you plan to receive a flu shot, wear loose-fitting clothing to allow for easy administration in the arm. For children under 2 years of age, the shot will be given in the leg.
Individuals with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis, regardless of symptoms, should defer routine vaccination until they've met the criteria to discontinue isolation. While mild illness doesn't necessitate avoiding vaccination, it's crucial for those who are unwell to prevent exposing healthcare professionals, family, and friends, as stated in our release.

Jalen Hurts Set to Play on Sunday
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni remains optimistic that Jalen Hurts, despite his ailing knee, will be ready for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders at FedEx Field. However, Sirianni is cautiously hopeful, acknowledging the challenges of playing through pain.
The Eagles, with a 6-1 record, opted for a walkthrough instead of a regular practice as they prepare to face the Commanders, who are 6.5-point underdogs. In their previous encounter three weeks ago, the Eagles secured a 34-31 overtime victory against the Commanders.
During the Eagles' win against the Miami Dolphins last Sunday, Hurts wore a knee brace in the second half. Despite his injury, Hurts displayed impressive performance, notably with some crucial first downs, utilizing his running abilities effectively. However, the concerning issue for Hurts and the Eagles is his turnover problem. Hurts has accumulated 10 turnovers this season, ranking second in the NFL, with eight interceptions tying him for the league lead with Jimmy Garoppolo. Last year, Hurts had 13 turnovers, including seven fumbles.

Really?
Hermann Dörnemann was the oldest man in the world until he died in March 2005, just two months before his 112th birthday. He said he lived so long for two reasons: He drank the water left over after cooking potatoes and his only form of exercise was “walking to the corner shop to buy beer and cigars.”
FIREFLIES. In the summer, kids like to catch lightning bugs and keep them in jars. That light is vital to the insects’ survival. Courting male and female fireflies flash signals back and forth, and when their flickering code is in sync, they mate. Their glow also alerts bats and other predators to stay away, (which is good because fireflies taste awful). This bright warning signal, also used by some colorful, toxic amphibians, is called aposematism. When daring frogs do eat lightning bugs, they temporarily take on the golden glow of their dinner.

A guy said to God, "God, is it true that to you a billion years is like a second?"
God said yes.
The guy said, "God, is it true that to you a billion dollars is like a penny?"
God said yes.
The guy said, "God, can I have a penny?"
God said, "Sure, just a second."
My girlfriend and I are trying this whole "long-distance relationship" thing.
I have to stay 100 feet away from her at all times. Also, the police say I should stop referring to her as my girlfriend.
